Dean is the President and founder of SteppingStone Solutions, Inc., has worked for several Fortune 500 companies (e.g., Motorola, Bank of America, Capital One, the World Bank), and held Senior Security Engineer roles at the US Dept of Justice and Dept of State. Dean has taught IT and cybersecurity certification courses since 2011, training thousands of IT professionals and military personnel around the world. In 2012, he began creating custom content in Windows and Linux systems administration, network engineering, firewall engineering, security engineering, and penetration testing. His expertise includes development of IT policies and procedures, risk management, and business process re-engineering.
