How to Create a Fill-in-the-Blank Question
Build open-ended questions where users type in responses to fill blanks, testing recall or application.
Steps:
- Log in to the Admin Portal.
- Navigate to the Content tab.
- Click Create Question in the top-right corner.
In the Question Creation Pop-up:
- Name your question (should match the question content for consistency).
- Select question type: Fill (fill-in-the-blank).
- Add the question content (include blanks like _____ for users to fill).
- Type in the expected answer or answers (separate multiple acceptable answers with commas or as specified in the interface).
- Add an explanation that appears as the "correct" or "incorrect" message after answering.
- Use the Preview tab to view the question from the user's perspective.
- Click Save at the bottom of the pop-up window.
