How to Download a Phishing Simulation Report from the Drip7 Platform

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for downloading a phishing simulation report in the Drip7 cybersecurity training platform, focusing on selecting the specific phishing curriculum to isolate relevant metrics.

Step 1: Log in to the Admin Dashboard

  • Access the Drip7 platform via a desktop browser using your admin credentials.

  • Navigate to the admin dashboard, your central hub for managing users, content, and reports.

Step 2: Navigate to the Reporting Section

  • From the dashboard, locate the “Reporting” tab, found in the main left-hand navigation menu.

  • The reporting section includes an overall dashboard for quick metrics, but we’ll focus on generating a detailed phishing report.

Step 3: Select the Phishing Report Type

  • In the Reporting tab, choose the “Curriculum” option from the available report types. This ensures the report focuses on the curriculum we created dedicate to the phishing simulation.

  • You’ll see a dropdown or filter to specify the curriculum. Phishing simulations are tied to curricula for tracking, so selecting the correct one is key.

Step 4: Choose the Specific Phishing Curriculum

  • Use the curriculum filter to select the phishing campaign you want to report on, such as “Dropbox Scam” or “Holiday Phish”. Each campaign is named under a curriculum for clarity, ensuring you pull data only for that simulation.

Step 5: Apply Additional Filters (Optional)

  • Refine the report by group, if needed. For instance, filter for “Sales” or “MCO” (synced via SCIM from Entra ID) to see how specific departments performed.

Step 6: Generate and Download the Report

  • Click the “Generate Report” button to compile the data. Drip7 will process metrics like who reported the phish, who clicked, or who ignored it, specific to the selected curriculum.

  • Optionally, schedule recurring reports (e.g., monthly) to auto-deliver to stakeholders via email.

Step 7: Verify the Report Content

  • Open the downloaded file to confirm it includes only the selected phishing curriculum’s data. Check for metrics like engagement rates, group performance, or individual user actions.

  • If discrepancies appear, revisit the curriculum filter or contact Drip7 support (info@drip7.com) to ensure accurate reporting.
