Q: How can you validate how the gamification is working?
To this point there is little data on gamification within the industry. I’d like to change that. We are actively working on a platform that includes both gamification but also robust reporting with adaptability. I believe that validation can be measured in control groups. Feedback can be solicited. When a program is rolled to a whole organization data can be collected and seen from a reporting view. But in the end, I see behavior change as the only way to measure clear validation. We are working with a hospital system that wants to measure the length and complexity of people’s passwords after the microlearning cybersecurity education. In time, we will have more data and more metrics. It is an important area to think about from the beginning.
